The ukulele group has recently started with an initial membership of 15. We have already covered the basics of ukulele playing and are making good progress, as well as having fun. We have performed several tunes at the Christmas lunches over the last couple of years.
We have explored many different musical genres, including Jazz, blues traditional, folk, popular and classical. The ukulele is a very versatile instrument, it is easy to get started and it has great potential for more complex performances.
tIf you think that you would like to play, join up and give it a try, both beginners and experienced players are welcome. We also have smaller groups for new starters and those that would benefit from more targeted lessons.
