​Folk Song Group

Were you ever in the back room of a pub in the sixties singing along or, earlier still, joining in as a school child with the BBC’s Singing Together on the wireless?  If this sounds a chord, the Folk Song Group welcomes you to join us in looking into the origins of the traditional songs of the British Isles and other English-speaking countries to which these songs travelled - and to sing them. No musical knowledge or singing ability required – just a capacity for having fun!
