At Hawkhurst u3a, besides our Interest Groups, we also have a full programme of other events.
Monthly Meetings 1st Thursday of the month
You are invited to our next Monthly Meeting, which is Thursday 3rd April, 10am at Hawkhurst Baptist Church Hall, Western Road, Hawkhurst TN18 4BT. New and prospective members welcome, please make yourself known at the Membership Desk just inside the door. Complimentary coffee and tea is served after the talk.
Outings There is also a series of outings which can last just a few hours or a whole day; these include Blue Badge tours, exhibitions and visits to historic buildings. Details are listed here when an event is planned.
Thursday 31 July, The Big Cat Sanctuary open day
Social Events Of equal importance is the Social side of Hawkhurst u3a. Coffee Mornings and Pub Lunches are regular events, and gatherings such as a Christmas Lunch, Summer Party are planned. These social functions will also offer members the opportunity to meet and talk to other members from different Groups. Details are listed below.
